Mollino di Sant'Antimo 2004

This Cabernet Sauvignon has a well-defined aroma with scents of blackcurrant, cedar and spices. On the palate it develops aromas that are reminding of chocolate, wild berries and a hint of oak.
Just the right balance between acidity and tannins. This wine can be stored and aged for a very long time.

This Sant'Antimo Rosso DOC is characterized by its delicate, round bouquet, rich in scents and aromatic flavours and has, due to the production accuracy and its elevation in French barrels a long life ahead. Quite recommendable.
Sant'Antimo Rosso D.O.C.
The rules for the production of “Sant’Antimo D.O.C.” red wines are leaving more room to its producers to make wines different from the “Brunello di Montalcino D.O.C.G.” or “Rosso di Montalcino D.O.C.” wines. Apart from the Sangiovese grapes, called “Brunello” in Montalcino, grape varieties as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Pinot nero may be used as well.

The “Cà del Pazzo 2003 D.O.C.” is ruby red in color, its perfume complex and fine, with hints of blackberries and liquorice. Fruity, warm and dry on the palate, with sensations of almonds and vanilla. Long lasting finish.
